Meet the Directors
Becky Elmore and Luke Weaver are the LeRoy Recreation Directors.
Becky is a lifelong member of the LeRoy Community. Becky is currently teaching Kindergarten in the Rush-Henrietta School District. She served on the Oatka Festival Committee for 8 years. Becky continues to enjoy working with the community to support the youth.
Luke is also a lifelong member of the LeRoy Community. Luke is currently the K-12 STEAM Teacher for LeRoy Central School. He has volunteered as a youth coach in both baseball and soccer and also served the community as the chairman of the town planning board. Luke lives in LeRoy with his wife Sara and his children Aidan and Cora.

The recreation program occurs mostly in the summer, with a few events planned during the winter months. Special event details are published in the LeRoy Pennysaver.
Summer recreation generally runs from June through August. The program consists of daily park programs, field trips, pool programs, instructional camps, and special events.
Please note that due to the seasonal nature of our recreation program, the Recreation Director is not on staff from September thru March. E-mail messages and voice mails will not be answered during this time period. Any questions during this time period should be directed to the Supervisor and he will make sure your concerns are addressed.
