Please take notice that the Town of LeRoy Zoning Board of appeals will hold a Public Hearing to consider the request of Mr. Matthew Pilarski for an area Variance to Place a 12’x 30’ shed at 8687 Keeney Rd, LeRoy, New York 14482. Town zoning for an R & A zone requires 20’ of side-set back, and 50’ of rear set-back from lot lines. The proposed location of the shed would be 10’ from the side and 25’ from the rear. A 10’ side and 25’ rear variance is being requested. Said hearing will be held on 10 May 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, 48 Main Street, LeRoy NY.  Inquiries regarding the hearing may be directed to the Zoning Office at 768-6910 ext. 223 or 225 or by attending the hearing.

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of LeRoy  in the County of Genesee for the year 2022.  The Roll is on file and may be seen here on the Town of LeRoy website and on the Genesee County PROS site to be examined by any person until the Fourth Tuesday of May.   The Board of Assessment Review will hear complaints on: Monday June 6, 2022 from 4-8 pm  at the Town Office, 48 Main Street, LeRoy.

The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at the Town Clerk’s office on:


May 4 from 11:00am-3:00 pm at the LeRoy Town Hall     

May 9 from 11:00am-5:00 pm at the LeRoy Town Hall                             

May 16 from 11:00am-5:00 pm at the LeRoy Town Hall

If you choose, you may also complete the rp-524 Grievance form for submission at the Town Hall prior to Grievance Day. The form can be mailed or emailed to you.

In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
